Available is this vintage Pratt & Whitney 2-sided promotional photo. It is printed on glossy heavy card stock paper with product application use pictures on the front and the vital statistics listed on the back. The turbopump was developed and manufactured by P&W to be used on the Space Shuttle Main Engine. All research and development work was done at the P&W facility plant in WPB, FL. It was government contracted and referred to as the “SSME Program” [for NASA]. These turbopumps pumped liquid oxygen and hydrogen propellant fuel to the Space Shuttle’s Main Engines. The group photo is not included, I added it only to show the perspective and size of the mock-up piece and the men that did the mock-up work of putting the test piece together that was then used for flow testing. My father was the supervisor of the group, he is the one wearing the tie, and where much of my P&W inventory has come from. The faces are blurred to protect the identities of the men. I am willing to sell this one and only photo if interested.
