OUR DESCRIPTION A DAZZLING NEW Handmade JEFF BALL COLORFUL SWIRL (41 MM) Art Glass MARBLE. It’s a One-Of-A-Kind Handmade Marble by Jeff. It Measures Approximately 41 MM and or 1-1/2″ in Diameter, please see last picture for Digital Caliper LCD Display Measurement. This one was part of my personal collection and on display for a short time. It’s unsigned but attribution is guaranteed. The entire motif consists of a few shades of Blue and Green as well as the color White) Swirl Marble. The pictures do not do this Marble justice and it is much better seen in person and up close. I consider this Lovely Marble to be in Very Good Original Condition. The pontil marks on the north end can be very slightly seen, see Yellow arrow in picture #6. This is a Very Lovely Size Contemporary Handmade Glass Marble that Measures Approximately 41 MM and or 1-1/2″ in Diameter. Art glass had been apart of their lives for decades. Carol had multiple generations of family working in the glass industry at companies like Aladdin Glass, Corning Glass in New York, and St. Clair Glass.While Carol was working at St. Clair glass, she and Jeff started buying glass art pieces and selling them at markets and other events. They saw how much the public loved collectible art glass. When the St. Clairs passed away and their family auctioned everything off, Carol and Jeff bought equipment to start manufacturing art glass themselves.Jeff and Carol worked to stay up to date on trends. For examples, glass paperweights aren’t nearly as popular today as they were in the 70s and 80s. Carol and Jeff enjoyed new ways of connecting with people, which is what led them to start making pieces for funeral homes. They carried on the St. Clair legacy of making things beautiful, but they went the extra mile to make their art personal. ABOUT ME I am first and foremost a collector of many different types of antiques. One of my hobbies is collecting Art Glass Paperweights.
